On December 19, HPL achieved the production target of 65,000 tons of metallic nickel per year ahead of schedule, far exceeding the design capacity of 55,000 tons of metallic nickel for the three production lines of HPAL project Phases I and II, demonstrating excellent production capacity and efficient execution level.
HPL is a high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) company jointly invested and built by Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. and its Indonesian partner. Since the successful trial production of high-pressure autoclave feeding on April 27, 2021, HPL has started its full-load production mode, exceeding the annual production target in the first year and creating multiple industry records.

As at December 19, HPL's actual production capacity exceeded the design capacity by 18%.
