On March 23, Lygend Resources & Technology HPAL (phase III) ONC Project in the Indonesia OBI Industrial Park commissioned the ore dressing system, achieving a major milestone that the project has turned from construction to trial production.
The relevant leaders from China ENFI, China Sixth Metallurgical, Chongqing CISDI, and other partners attended the commissioning ceremony on which ONC Project Manager Lv Wen, the Chinese representative of the project owner, and Pak Jun, the Indonesian representative, delivered their speeches and extended their gratitude to all builders for their support and cooperation in realizing Lygend speed and Lygend quality. Shi Wentang, Field General Manager of HPAL/ONC, expressed his high expectation over HPAL (phase III), and announced the commissioning at 11:18 a.m.
ONC Project, which was signed on the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, adopts world-leading third-generation HPAL technology to manufacture MHP products, an anode material for NEV ternary batteries.
ONC Project is the third phase of Lygend HPAL Project. Three production lines are planned and the designed annual production capacity is 65,000 MMT of MHP. Upon commissioning of the entire Lygend HPAL project (phases I, II & III), the total production capacity will reach 120,000 MMT of MHP, ensuring Lygend’s leading competitive edge in the industry.
